Films, workshops, a pop up market and a Halloween dance party will all take centre stage at a seafront pavilion.

East Point Pavilion in Lowestoft has an exciting programme of free and ticketed events for all to enjoy over the half term holidays.

Kicking off the week, Lowestoft Film Festival gets under way on Friday, October 20 with an evening of late-night comedy, followed by a curated collection of films by sculptor Laurence Edwards and a pre-recorded Q&A from the First Light Festival on Saturday, October 21.

The seafront pavilion on Royal Plain will then showcase Family Friendly Film Feasts as family friendly screenings take place between noon and 2.30pm on October 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.

Rounding up the festival celebrations will see The Big Lowestoft Film Festival Quiz held on October 26 at 7.45pm.

All the rounds will be film-themed, along with photo and music rounds and much more.

After a sold out 'Spook School comic book workshop with writer and comic book lover Charlotte Delaney on October 25, Books & Prints will be at the Pavilion on October 27, with two press print workshops.

Free to attend, the workshops run from 10am to 11.30am and noon to 1.30pm.

On Sunday, October 29, the Pavilion’s monthly market showcases the creativity, craftsmanship and talent of local artisans and makers serving up autumnal vibes and some Halloween treats.

The Autumn Makers Market runs from 10am to 4pm at the pavilion.

On Halloween itself, October 31, DJ Josh Pickering, Witch Glitterati and their spooky pals will unite at East Point Pavilion for a Halloween kids dance party from 4pm to 6pm.

Tickets are free for children and just £2 for adults.
