Views are continuing to be sought as new policies have been added to a vision for a coastal town.

With a new public consultation launched last month on Lowestoft’s Neighbourhood Development Plan - which aims to shape the future development, growth and regeneration of the town - new policies feature.

As Lowestoft Town Council designates the whole of the parish area to produce a Neighbourhood Development Plan for, a consultation is continuing until December 11.

A town council spokesman said: "One of the new draft policies in the Lowestoft Neighbourhood Development Plan we are asking your opinion on is the 'Kirkley District Shopping Centre'.

"To help you find out more about this change and any other changes that have been made, there is a public drop-in session at The Kirkley Centre on Wednesday, November 22 from 3pm to 6pm."

A 21st century mixed use waterfront, high quality environment, heritage-led regeneration and a balanced and sustainable transport provision are among the "aims for the Neighbourhood Plan."
