A man from Lowestoft has been charged with various firearms and drug offences.

Jonathon Blake of Haward Street, Lowestoft, was arrested on Wednesday, November 15, for a suspicion of a range of offences after police raided his home. 

He was then taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. 

The 55-year-old has been charged with possession of a knife or bladed article in a public place, possession of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis), four counts of possessing an air weapon when prohibited and production of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis).

On Friday, November 17, he attended Norwich Magistrates' Court where he was bailed to return to Ipswich Crown Court on December 15.
