A vet practice has announced a paw-some new initiative that could fill stockings this Christmas.

Wangford Veterinary Clinic has released a fundraising calendar that features adorable pet photos sent in by friends and clients of the east Suffolk surgery.

Proceeds from sales of the calendar will raise funds for StreetVet Norwich, which provides vital veterinary care for the pets of people experiencing homelessness in Norwich and the surrounding area.

The calendars are priced at £6 each, or two for just £10.

Jill Asquith, the vets' marketing, PR and customer care manager, said: "It's a fantastic opportunity to not only enjoy beautiful photos throughout the year and support a wonderful cause at the same time."

The Norwich branch of the national StreetVet charity was launched in 2019. It relies on a team of local vets and vet nurses who volunteer at a weekly outreach clinic in central Norwich.

You can get your calendar from Wangford Vets reception or the surgery can post one out to you for the extra cost of £1.30 for postage – paid via card over the phone.

The telephone number is 01502 578999.
