A garden has been transformed into a winter wonderland in aid of local causes.

Paul Hammond and Suzanne Chapman have transformed their garden on Kilbourn Road, Pakefield in Lowestoft, for the fifth time as part of their 'Back 2 Life' campaign, which is a mental health charity.

This year all donations will go to the Royal British Legion (Suffolk) and Royal Anglian Regiment (Suffolk).

Donations can be made in person or online with the Christmas garden display being shown between 4.30pm and 9.30pm each evening in December.

The couple are also welcoming donations via Paypal to skratchthekat@gmail.com.

They launched the charity in 2018 and previously raised money for Topcats, Warren Association Trust and the Brainwave Independence Group.

Mr Hammond, who suffers from PTSD following his time providing aid to those who suffered in the 2018 drought in the Horn of Africa, believes more needs to be done to raise awareness for mental health.

The display will be up for the next six weeks.
