A car window was smashed as damage was caused during a break-in.
However nothing was stolen, as thieves fled empty-handed.
Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information after the car was damaged in Pakefield, Lowestoft.
A car parked on Merrifield Road was damaged sometime between 7pm and 8pm on Sunday, January 7.
A police spokesman said: "A rear side window was smashed.
"Nothing was removed from the car."
