The Lowestoft Players are now scouting for singers, dancers, and actors for their next production.

The next show to be produced by the company is 'Kipps', the new Half a Sixpence musical.

The production is set to run from June 7 to 15 at the Players Theatre, Lowestoft.

Nick Garrod, chairman of the Lowestoft Players, said: "We need male and female actors and singers for all roles plus dancers and movers.

"We are a friendly group and new members are always made to feel welcome."

'Kipps' follows the story of Arthur Kipps, an orphan and overworked draper's assistant, who suddenly finds himself catapulted into high society, courtesy of an unexpected inheritance.

The transition into this new social status forms the crux of his story, with a love triangle intertwined.

The musical offers popular tunes including Flash, Bang, Wallop, Half a Sixpence and If The Rain’s Got to Fall.
