A man in his 20s was shoved, verbally abused and had a 3kg medicine ball thrown at his head.
Police investigations in connection with the assault at a gym in Lowestoft are continuing.
Officers said trouble flared at the Waterlane Leisure Centre in Lowestoft on February 10.
It happened around 1.10pm when the man was shoved, verbally abused and had the 3kg weight thrown at his head.
While the man was not injured in the assault, officers issued an appeal for witnesses and information last month in connection with the incident.
Now, two months on from the assault, a police spokesman said: "Enquiries are continuing – witnesses still sought."
Anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting crime reference number 37/8401/24.
