POLICE need to trace a man who set off an air horn into the face of an 80-year-old pensioner in Lowestoft.
The 80-year-old was at home in Gunton Avenue about 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday, April 7) when his doorbell rang and he answered it to a man, described as white, in his mid 20s to mid 30s, around 6ft tall, of medium build, with a shaven head and a rounded face and possibly wearing a striped top, who lifted the small air horn and set off a loud blast of air towards his face.
The man then walked away to a waiting dark coloured medium sized vehicle, which had another man in the drivers seat.
The 80-year-old was unhurt but the incident was 'painful and distressing to him,' according to police.
• Police are asking anyone with information about the incident, the car or the man involved to call PC 1233 Rose on 01986 835300.
