90s reunion for old Hedley House and Tiffin’s partygoers in Lowestoft

And now, hundreds of former clubbers are set to reunite at Lowestoft's Claremont Pier to remember two popular town venues where they danced away that classic decade.

Many town residents now aged in 30s spent their youth partying at Hedley House (Carlton Manor).

The venue later closed and eventually became known as just Carlton Manor - but when that shut, partygoers moved on to the equally popular Tiffins, above what is now the Joseph Conrad public house on Station Square.

In the end, that venue also closed - but both still hold happy memories of where they did some crazy dancing and met some wonderful friends.

The two clubs held such strong memories for Kelly Eade that she decided to stage a reunion for everyone else who used to party there, to be held at 8pm on Saturday, September 12.

'I want to to bring out that generation,' the 34-year-old former Kirkley High School student explained.

'I thought the best way of doing that was to set up an event and combine the two, because people relate to Hedley House and Tiffins.'

As both venues are no more, the event is being staged at one of Lowestoft's most picturesque venues on the seafront - The Aquarium - instead.

It will be decorated to resemble the two clubs as closely as possible, including with its own Que Pasa Bar - in light of the bar that used to be underneath Tiffins.

Working with DJ Dave Eagle, the single mother-of-three has even gone to lengths of tracking down DJs and door staff from Hedley House and Tiffins to work on the night - and says she has 'so many surprises I've set up' which will bring the memories flooding back.

'I really want them to feel like they're in the 90s,' she said. 'I want to take people to their youth.'
