FORMER model turned actress Abi Titmuss was in Lowestoft today to talk about her Shakespearian debut at the Seagull Theatre next week when she stars as Lady Macbeth.

For the past four years Abi has been working on a new career path and is desperate to be known as a serious actress.

'I do not want to be known for just being famous. I have been working for the past four years in theatres all over the country and I am really happy to be back in Lowestoft.

'I was in a play at the Marina Theatre last year and this opportunity to appear in such a superb role at the Seagull is simply brilliant,' she said.

Macbeth will be performed at The Seagull from Wednesday, November 18 to Sunday, November 22, and on Monday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 1. The play will also tour East Anglian venues and is being performed at the Fisher Theatre, Bungay, on Tuesday, November 24 and The Cut, Halesworth, on Friday, December 4.
