The organisers of specialist sessions designed to help people embrace new languages are looking for volunteers.

Language Café takes place at Sams Coffee House on Bevan Street East in Lowestoft, giving members of the community an opportunity to come together and try their hand at unfamiliar languages.

Having been launched by Access Community Trust in June 2017, the café is an informal setting and welcomes participants of all abilities.

French classes are currently run by Richard Allen, a retired teacher who volunteers every Monday afternoon at 2.30pm.

Lee Johnson, arts and culture education coordinator for Access, said: 'Language Café is a great way to learn and make new friends, but it is only possible due to people giving up their time to share their knowledge.

'Our goal is to offer more languages and for the sessions to eventually run every day.'
