A team of staff, apprentices, young customers and friends of Access Community Trust in Lowestoft will be embarking on a major challenge this month.
Over nine days, from June 17 to June 25, the team will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge. A small team will be cycling from peak to peak, stopping off at campsites on the way, and as this is happening the Access Community Trust apprentices and customers will be given the opportunity to explore the country and visit landmarks and tourist attractions.
Jed Levett, business support officer at Access Community Trust, said: 'We hope to raise enough funds to be able to give more young people the opportunity to go on trips and go to places they have never been before. It is important for young people to be involved in enrichment projects as it helps to boost their confidence, skills and knowledge of the country they live in.'
With sponsorship support being sought, donations can be made via www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/3PeaksChallenge or visit Sams Coffee House on Bevan Street East or The Work Space in the High Street where you will be able to fill out a sponsorship form.
