Two men accused of stealing tens of thousands of pounds belonging to a Roman Catholic Church in Lowestoft have appeared before magistrates.
Eric Woodhead, 60, of Upgate, Poringland, and Christopher Myhill, 28, of Queen's Road, Yarmouth, have been charged with stealing nearly £92,000 from the Our Lady Star of the Sea church. Myhill faces two further charges of stealing just over £6,000 from the same church.
The pair appeared before Lowestoft Magistrates' Court yesterday when their cases were adjourned for a plea and directions hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on May 16.
