Adnams brewers and distillers won three top awards at the World Whiskies Awards 2018.

The Southwold-based business received accolades for all three of its whiskies after they went head to head with the world's best across the globe.

Tasted and overseen by 50 international judges, Adnams came back to Suffolk with two winners and one silver award, with Adnams Triple Malt winning the Wheat category and Best British Wheat, Adnams Rye Malt Whisky winning Rye Category Winner and Best British Rye, and Adnams Single Malt Whisky winning the silver in the Single Malt category.

The Triple Malt also scooped the Best Brand Design award in conjunction with design partners, CookChick.

Adnams' master distiller, John McCarthy, said: 'We are really pleased that all three of our whiskies have won within their respective classes in these prestigious awards. We have always been proud of our use of locally-grown malts and winning these latest accolades has given us further validation in our production methods and cask selections.'
