HM Coastguard in Lowestoft were paged to attend an incident at Southwold's Bailey Bridge on Sunday, February 17.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust were on scene alongside the Air Ambulance, first responder, ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance service said: 'We were called at 10.54am yesterday with reports of a cardiac arrest in Southwold.
'We sent the East Anglian Air Ambulance, an ambulance officer, community first responder, rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.
'Sadly the patient died at the scene.'
