RESIDENTS are being asked to put their bins out early to ensure an efficient district-wide collection service on the days of the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival.
In order for Waveney District Council's refuse team to continue as normal on Thursday and Friday, people with collections on these days are being asked to put their bins out at 6.30am instead of 7am.
The large number of visitors to the air show can lead to an increase in traffic and parked cars. This can delay the crews and limit, or even restrict their access to certain areas.
An earlier collection on the days of the air show should ensure that the crews get out to all areas and provide their usual high standard of service.
