Air rifle used in damaging Lowestoft business

PUBLISHED: 17:00 29 September 2010

A LARGE glass window at business premises in Lowestoft was cracked by what police believe would have been someone firing an air rifle pellet or similar at it.

The window at the Riverside Business Centre was damaged about 3pm on Tuesday <28> and police are keen to trace the occupants of a dark green VW car, which drove past the business at the time, as it appears one of the occupants fired something at the window.

Anyone who saw the incident or who has any information about the car or its occupants should telephone PC 1040 Brown at Lowestoft police station on 01986 835300.
