I HAVE heard that the Marina Theatre, in Lowestoft, is now going to put on a professional pantomime at Christmas instead of the Lowestoft Players production, moving them to a date in January.

If you want to watch a professional production you can go to Norwich Theatre Royal.
The Lowestoft Players put such effort into their productions and put the so-called professional production to shame more often than not.
I have been going to the Players' pantomimes since they were first performed at Sparrow's Nest and I feel that it's such a let down for all the amateur actors that they have had to be pushed out.
This is one person who will not be seeing the professional pantomime at Chrismas. We will wait until January.
