THE Christmas story will be brought to life in an outdoor nativity play performed in a Lowestoft park next weekend.
Members of Christ Church, on Whapload Road, will be performing an open-air nativity at Sparrow's Nest Gardens on the Saturday.
The adult actors will be joined by real horses, sheep and a donkey or the free play, which starts at 4pm. There will also be a live band playing carols to accompany the drama.
Christ Church vicar Matthew Payne said: 'We wanted to strip the story back to its original form, and away from everything else which is now associated with Christmas. The focus will be the baby in the manger and what he represents.
