A 64-YEAR-OLD man suffered a cut above his eye and a broken thumb after he was assaulted by two men in Oulton Broad. The victim was walking home along Sands Lane at about 9.30pm to 10pm on Friday when he saw two men walking towards him near the Cotswold Way junction. They assaulted him, knocking him to the ground. He managed to make his way home and report the incident to police. Both offenders were white, in their mid 20s to mid 30s, and about 5ft 10ins tall. They were wearing dark coloured clothing.
Police would like to hear from anyone witnessed the assault, or has information on the two men.
