Appeal over man who spoke to girls

POLICE need to trace a man who approached three 11-year-old girls in Lowestoft town centre and asked them if they wanted to go for a ride in his car.

The man spoke to the girls outside the Westgate department store, in London Road North, at about 4.

POLICE need to trace a man who approached three 11-year-old girls in Lowestoft town centre and asked them if they wanted to go for a ride in his car.

The man spoke to the girls outside the Westgate department store, in London Road North, at about 4.20pm on Saturday>.

They refused to go with him and he walked off towards a small red old-style vehicle and met up with a woman of slim build with blonde hair tied up.

The man is described as middle-aged, 5ft 8ins to 5ft-10ins, skinny, with stubble, a bruise or cut on his eyebrow and with acne marks on his forehead. He was wearing a bobble hat with 'dog ears' covering his ears, cream-coloured trousers and a long dark brown coat.
