I TOTALLY endorse David Sargeant's comments (August 21) re retiring mayor Frank Mortimer. His energy and enthusiasm for the 'job' has been inspirational and certainly appreciated.
I TOTALLY endorse David Sargeant's comments (August 21) re retiring mayor Frank Mortimer.
His energy and enthusiasm for the 'job' has been inspirational and certainly appreciated.
His efforts, for example in, hopefully, removing the 'Cotmer puddle' in conjunction with council officials has been well and truly noted and will make life for pedestrians etc in the area far more comfortable.
I think perhaps we can suggest he can be a member of the Lowestoft Mayoral Hall of Fame along with similar past characters such as Roy Burgess for example.
