POLICE are appealing for information this morning after an armed robbery at a newsagents in Pier Terrace, Lowestoft, yesterday afternoon.A man entered Joe's Newsagents just after 4pm, produced a knife and approached the woman behind the counter.
POLICE are appealing for information this morning after an armed robbery at a newsagents in Pier Terrace, Lowestoft, yesterday afternoon.
A man entered Joe's Newsagents just after 4pm, produced a knife and approached the woman behind the counter. He threatened the woman, grabbed her by her top and demanded cash, said police.
A small amount of money was handed over and the offender left the store.
Police have described the offender is described as white, around 6ft tall, of medium build with dark hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a dark coloured logo on both sleeves, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms, possibly tucked into socks, a light coloured cap and white trainers. His face was partially covered with white material, tied at the back and he has a large tattoo on his left arm.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who may have information about the offender.
