It was an eclectic arts festival, which has been hailed as another success as Southwold became the venue for the very best in comedy, poetry and music.
But as the popular Southwold Arts Festival was running, Reydon Primary School was holding its own arts week to tie in with the festival.
Pupils at the school in Jermyns Road, Reydon explored the theme of ‘Water’ and how important it is to the local area for industry, tourism and wildlife.
They compared the work of well-known artists such as Claude Monet and George Seurat, modern artists such as abstract fish artist Vincent Scarpace and local artists Serena Hall and Samuel Thomas.
Linda Ellis, deputy headteacher, said: “The results were wonderful and it was lovely to see the children working collaboratively to produce their best art work.
“The parents will have a chance to view the art on Sports Day.”
