Colleagues in the supermarket chain are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Asda in Lowestoft will be holding multiple fundraising events and activities throughout the day.

On Friday, September 28, 2018, Asda colleagues will be cycling 129 miles, the distance between the Lowestoft Store to Macmillan's head quarters, balloon modelling and male colleagues will be getting their legs waxed.

There will also be a tombola and a cake sale for customers to enjoy while they shop at the supermarket on Belvedere Road-Off Horn Hill.

Dave Newby, deputy store manager said: 'Please pop along to what promises to be a fun filled day and show your support for a wonderful charity.'

The fundraising will be in Asda's foyer between 11am - 3pm with all proceeds going to one of the largest British charities which provides specialist health care and financial support to people affected by cancer.
