Audi torched in late night arson attack

An Audi A4 was set alight in an arson attack late last night.

The incident occurred at around 11.15pm in Millennium Way, Lowestoft, with fire crews quickly responding to the blaze.

A crew from Lowestoft South arrived on scene to quash the flaming car, with the fire dampened down by 11.34pm. The crew then informed the police.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “It is being treated as an arson investigation and enquiries are ongoing.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting reference 436 for June 21, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
