Firefighters were on alert to deal with a blaze in the bathroom of a residential property.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service mobilised vehicles from Lowestoft North and Lowestoft South at 7.56am this morning following reports of a fire at a property on Denmark Road in Lowestoft.
Upon arrival, the two crews discovered a blaze in first floor bathroom of a terraced property, which was subsequently extinguished by 8.18am.
They remained at the scene until it was considered safe at 8.57am.
No one was is thought to have been inside the property at the time and an investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out in due course.
