A 50-year-old man suffered grazes to his face after he was assaulted by a gang of six teenagers on a beach footpath near Nightingale Road, Pakefield at about 8.10pm on Wednesday.
The victim was assaulted after he fell of his bicycle when youths threw a bicycle in his path as he was cycling between the end of Nightingale Road and Saxon Road.
He had to be treated by paramedics for grazes to his face.
Two of the gang had blond hair and one was wearing a black hooded top. Anyone with information should call PC 1633 Thompson at Lowestoft police on 01986 835300.
