Children and young people are invited to be part of an inaugural event next week.
The Ness, the UK's most easterly park, and East Coast College have teamed up to deliver a series of Beach Schools in Lowestoft - with the first taking place next Wednesday, May 29.
The Ness Beach School, in partnership with Lowestoft Town Council and East Suffolk Council, will use the environment to captivate the interests of children and young people.
Beach School is an innovative way of teaching using coastlines to promote wellbeing, an awareness of our environment and our responsibility towards caring for it - with experiments and the creation of temporary artworks among numerous activities.
A spokesman for The Ness said: "The first Beach School, which is free for families to join, is on Wednesday, May 29 from 10am to noon, meeting at Ness Point and returning after an educational and fun journey along the coastline in north Lowestoft.
"Please be sure to dress for the weather - this is an all year round approach and events won't be stopped by a bit of wild wind and rain!"
