Coastguard are warning people on the region's beaches tomorrow to be careful of brisk winds.
People are being warned not to out in the sea on inflatable toys, dinghies, rubber rings and air beds in case they get swept out to sea and overturned in rough cold water.
A coastguard spokesman said people could be placed in extreme danger before any emergency services can reach them.
If you spot anyone in trouble out to sea on an inflatable dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
