Bersant Celina gives Ipswich Town fan his shirt from Leeds goal after social media fun

The power of social media was in full evidence this week as one Ipswich Town fan tried to get his hands on a piece of Blues memorabilia.
Jordan Hockold speculatively asked Town star Bersant Celina how many Twitter retweets were required in order to receive a signed shirt, writing: “Don’t normally do this stuff, but for banter how many retweets for a signed shirt? Name your number my boy.”
To his surprise, Celina quickly followed him back and stated if the Blues fan received 1,000 retweets, the shirt he wore as his long-range effort beat Leeds would be his.
After asking the Ipswich Town Twitter community for help, the 25-year-old, from Lowestoft, soon had the retweets he required, as he secured a round of applause from Celina and arranged to meet the Kosovan to be rewarded with his shirt.
After being invited to Celina’s flat to pick up the shirt, Jordan said: “When he said 1,000 I thought it was a big ask due to how many followers I have, but when the ipswich fans are involved it seems anything is possible lol, a very tight group of fans.
“I went and picked it up from his flat, he was nice. Stopped for a chat about all things Ipswich, about his career and what his plans are for the future.”
Celina has proved a popular figure since arriving at Portman Road on loan from Manchester City in the summer, scoring eight goals in 27 games.
