Big waste if floodlights not allowed

I TOTALLY agree that it would be a big waste if the field at Camps Heath is not allowed to have floodlights on them.

It does not interfere with any houses as there are none within the nearby area that could complain of the noise or light that exists.

How can Waveney District Council turn down this application?

For one it's in a country environment - not like Lowestoft Town's football pitch, which is surrounded by domestic houses or many others within our area.

Blundeston Magpies have all their youth teams training there and our adults' first team and reserves.

Let's face it; Lowestoft lacks sufficient areas for football teams to train and play and it would be a down right shame if red tape and bureaucracy was to have their way- weren't any of their committee ever children?
