Blaze in Fritton tackled by fire crews

Firefighters fought to tackle a blaze at Fairway Lakes, Caldecott Hall, opposite Fritton Lake, last night which involved a row of four linked buildings.
Firefighters fought to tackle a blaze at Fairway Lakes, Caldecott Hall, opposite Fritton Lake, last night which involved a row of four linked buildings.
The alarm was raised at about 8pm and crews from Yarmouth and Gorleston and then Lowestoft and Beccles attended the scene.
A garage and shed were well alight and a roof of another building was partially on fire when they arrived but they managed to stop it spreading to the main building.
The fire was under control by 9.30pm and workers from an electricity company were called to deal with the power supply.
