ONCE again it's Christmas time and our poor little town has turned blue, just as one does when one is cold and sad.I have to wonder who actually decided that this festive theme would cheer the people of the town and attract people from other areas to visit and shop.

I have to wonder who actually decided that this festive theme would cheer the people of the town and attract people from other areas to visit and shop.
Working in a shop I am privy to the opinions of many people on local issues and in two years I have yet to meet anyone who actually likes these blue lights.
Meanwhile, many thanks to all those who have donated vintage Christmas decorations to charity shops round the town thus enabling me to buy them and use them in my festive home and wallow in the cosy nostalgia and cheer they provide.
