Rogation Service - Church members from Blundeston joined with other members of the Somerleyton Group for a Rogation service held at Ashby Church. Led by the Rev Leslie Hobbs, many of the congregation walked from Herringfleet Road to the church stopping to bless the crops growing in the adjoining fields.
Churchyard - The new drainage system has been completed, this has taken much longer than expected, but as soon as the grass has grown there will sadly be nothing to show on the surface for all the work. We would like to thank the following organisations for grants made towards this project: Blundeston Methodist Church, DC Moncrieff Charitable Trust, Norfolk Churches Trust, Round Tower Churches Society, Society for the Maintenance of the Faith, Waste Recycling Environmental Plc (WREN) via Suffolk Historic Churches Trust and all those individuals who have made donations towards the cost.
