Visitors were treated to a vast array of floral displays as a village showed off its gardening prowess.
The annual Blundeston Open Gardens event saw numerous gardens opened to members of the public over the course of the weekend, June 30 and July 1.
In light of May’s Royal Wedding the theme for this year’s event was royalty and, with the help of the art group, a variety of sentries, corgis and crowns were placed amid the dazzling creations and even the duck hut was renamed Duckingham Palace.
The local bowls club was also open, with visitors able to try their hand at bowling under the supervision of club members, while there was also an exhibition in the hall by the art club.
All proceeds from the weekend will go to Blundeston in Bloom, who have won a number of awards in the regional ‘in bloom’ contest and have this year entered the Anglia in Bloom competition once more.
