A popular bus service will be returning to Norwich next week.
After changes were made to the 146 BorderBus service in response to the government’s advice amid the continuing coronavirus crisis, the 146 buses – which run between Southwold, Kessingland, Beccles and Norwich – will be returning with a temporary timetable from Monday, June 8.
Andrew Pursey, from BorderBus Ltd, said: “After more than two months of the 146 bus running an emergency timetable, due to reduced patronage, from June 8 the ever popular 146 buses will be returning to Norwich.
“However, in line with government guidance, bus capacity will be reduced by 75pc (single deck buses can carry nine people and double deck buses can carry 19 people), to allow social distancing.
“Passengers are advised to wear a face covering, use contactless payment, wash hands before and after travelling and sit in a seat near the window.”
