Boundary changes

PUBLISHED: 12:41 09 September 2008 | UPDATED: 21:14 05 July 2010

I AM astonished that The Journal is asking the people of Lowestoft to protest about the boundary changes, then, on the very same day, I read in the Yarmouth Mercury, that the very same proposals have been thrown out by Great Yarmouth Borough Council … good for them, who, in their right mind would want to be saddled with our present totally inefficient bunch of councillors?

We read of massively expensive projects such as the Waveney Campus they then pour oil on the fire by stating that the loss of £38,000 of ratepayers money, which has mysteriously disappeared, does not represent any wrong doing.

Perhaps it's being outrageous to ask for a semblance of honesty from our council. Or perhaps they should organise a treasure hunt to find this stash of money.
