I AND many others went to the Holiday Inn, Norwich, to attend a sell out Norwich versus Lowestoft boxing show which included a charity auction/collection, the proceeds going to Help an East Coast Child and also Addenbrooke's Hospital, in memory of Jordan Smith.

What a great evening it was.

We had tickets which included a three course meal, followed by a dozen or so boxing bouts which were all exciting, hard

fought and very entertaining, particularly the Paul Newrick (Ultimate Boxing) bout; Paul was also awarded the well deserved Boxer of the Night Award.

This was the first event organised by Matt Smith of the Ultimate Boxing White Collar Boxing Club, in Lowestoft, together with Andy Godbold of the Bolddog White Collar Boxing Club, Norwich, and I think plans are already being made for the next one to take place at a venue in or around Lowestoft.

We would like to congratulate them on such a well organised show.

This is certainly boxing with a difference and anyone with an interest in the sport would enjoy one of these events; we can't wait for the next one.
