Cannabis plants seized in north Suffolk
POLICE have seized around 300 cannabis plants after raiding a house in Ellough Road in Ellough, near Beccles, on Friday evening.A police officer on routine patrol spotted the premises were insecure and, on further investigation, discovered evidence of potential cannabis growing.
POLICE have seized around 300 cannabis plants after raiding a house in Ellough Road in Ellough, near Beccles, on Friday evening.
A police officer on routine patrol spotted the premises were insecure and, on further investigation, discovered evidence of potential cannabis growing. His suspicions were confirmed after police obtained a warrant to enter the premises and found several areas set up as growing rooms.
The site was secured while investigations were carried out at the scene and cannabis plants and growing equipment was seized.
Enquiries are continuing.
