MOTORISTS in rush-hour traffic are being warned there may still be some delays on the A12 at Thorington this morning (Wednesday) following a collision between a Volvo lorry and a Volkswagen Golf.
The crash happened on the A12 between Darsham and Blythburgh at 7.36am, and an 'elderly gentleman' had to be cut out of his car according to a police spokesman.
'We are still recovering the vehicles at the moment and there may still be some delays,' the police spokesman said. 'One lane is open and passable to traffic, although both lanes did have to be closed initially to extract the elderly gentleman from his vehicle.'
