FIREFIGHTERS spent more than 20 minutes tackling a car blaze in Lowestoft.

A crew from Lowestoft South station were called following reports of a car on fire outside of a property in Flensburgh Street in Lowestoft at 11.45pm last night (Tuesday).

The fire was quickly brought under control by 12.06am, with the crew back on base at 12.19am.
