POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a silver estate car after a crash in Cotmer Road Lowestoft this morning.

Officers were called just after 7.20am to reports of a three-vehicle collision at the roundabout at the junction with Elm Tree Road and Colville Road. However, the silver car did not stop at the scene and drove off. It is likely to have sustained damage to its front.

The other two vehicles involved were a red Fiat Punto and a blue Vauxhall Astra. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.

Police are keen to trace the driver of the silver car and are asking anyone with information about who he or she is to come forward.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision or anyone with information about a silver-coloured estate car that may have sustained damage to the front. If you can help, please call PC Gary Brown at Lowestoft Police on 01986 835300.
