Firefighters were called in the early hours of this morning to deal with a car fire.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received a report at around 12.10am saying a vehicle was alight on Ashley Downs, off Hollingsworth Road in Lowestoft.
Upon arrival at the scene, one crew from Lowestoft South fire station found a diesel car on fire in the street and extinguished the blaze in about half an hour.
Suffolk Police were also in attendance.
The fire service considered the scene to be safe by 12.46am.
