FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft spent 20 minutes tackling a car that was ablaze in the town.

Two crews were called to tackle the blaze in Regent Road at 12.38pm today (Wednesday). A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service ‎spokesman said: 'The car, which was well alight, was being extinguished with one hosereel and two breathing apparatus.'

The blaze was quickly dealt with, as the scene was cleared by 1pm.
