A tanker was forced off the road by a car in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Shell tanker was forced off the A12 at Blythburgh, south of Lowestoft, at about 2am.
A Suffolk police spokesman said that a dark-coloured 4x4-type vehicle, which was occupied by three or four men, forced the tanker off the road and then continued northbound along the A12 towards Lowestoft.
