Care home backed in Lowestoft

PROPOSALS to build a care home in north Lowestoft have been backed. A 56-bedroom care home can be built on land off Leisure Way, next to the new Travelodge hotel, after the plans were approved by Waveney District Council's development control committee on Wednesday (September 16) night.

A 56-bedroom care home can be built on land off Leisure Way, next to the new Travelodge hotel, after the plans were approved by Waveney District Council's development control committee on Wednesday (September 16) night.
The committee also granted permission for 15 affordable homes to be built off Millennium Way.
