Cyclist suffers broken and dislocated elbow after hit and run

Police have issued a further appeal for information after a cyclist suffered a broken and dislocated elbow when he was knocked from his bike during a hit and run.
The collision happened at around 5.55pm on Wednesday, September 19, on the A146 Beccles Road, near the petrol station between the Ivy Lane and Burnt Hill Way Junction.
A car crashed with a bicycle travelling towards Beccles - knocking the cyclist to the ground.
The man, who is aged in his 50s, was left with a broken and dislocated elbow, along with multiple cuts and bruises. He was taken to hospital by an ambulance which was a couple of vehicles behind when the collision occurred.
A police spokesman said: 'The driver of the car involved failed to stop or report the collision and officers are appealing for this person to come forward.'

Any witnesses to this collision, or anyone with any information, is asked to contact the Neighbourhood Support Team at Lowestoft Police Station on 101, quoting reference CAD 85 of September 19.
