A rare chance has come up to crew on one of the East Coast's most historic racing yachts.
An opportunity for youngsters between the ages of 12 and 25 to join Lowestoft-based 'Leila' a 42-foot Victorian gaff-rigged sailing boat built in 1892, for a voyage at half-term, between May 28 to June 1.
The unique offer is open to anyone from Suffolk or Norfolk with an additional opportunity to take the Royal Yachting Association 'Competent Crew' qualification for free.
For the more adventurous and competitive there is a single space left on 'Tall Ships' race to Denmark, Norway and Holland from July 15 to August 8.
And there are places on board too for a summer adventure at sea for 12-year-olds and older – berths are available for the 'Small Ships Race' to Southampton from August 18 to 24.
